And coming 2025: 300-hour and Continuing Education

We are currently accepting applications for our late Spring 200-hour program: May 3-July 28

Awaken!

At Bliss Yoga Studios, we use our creative, adaptive and dynamic environment to safely explore the concepts of high quality, immersive yoga and support the gentle unfolding of your own inner teacher.

Within our 200-hour Yoga Alliance Accredited School, you will have the guidance of 3 experienced yoga teachers. Marianne Ames E RYT 200, Olaf Buntrock E RYT 200, and Adam Riehl E RYT 200. In addition to these three lead trainers, Bliss Awaken Yoga brings in additional teachers and experts from all over our area to create a diverse platform of knowledge and teaching styles.

This dynamic and intentionally crafted program brings in Power Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Prananyama, Tantra, Somatics, Subtle Energy Body, Meditation, Sacred Sound, Ayurveda, Anatomy Physiology and the Chinese 5 Element Theory, PLUS a safe container for a deeper understanding of the nervous system, and personal growth with experiential activities.

Our locally owned and family run studio has been a staple of the Monroe community since 2018. Our program captures everything that makes Bliss Yoga Studio so fluid, empowering and one-of-a-kind. We strive to create a warm, welcoming, and non-dogmatic atmosphere, where students of all backgrounds and skill levels can thrive. Our emphasis is on the benefits of yoga through uniting the physical body and the mind with curiosity, intention and awareness. Our 200-hour teacher training is ideal for students with sincere interest in diving deep in the traditions, teachings and alignment of yoga, whether the intent is to teach or not. We use the classroom setting, outdoor experiences, and one on one techniques to give space for students to fully embody the teachings of yoga. We are committed to personal and professional growth to prepare students to live with courage, connection and bravery, on and off the mat.

We acknowledge all the teachers who came before us, the ancient roots of Yoga, from the sages of the Indian subcontinent and the influence of the wisdom, cultures and ancient text and philosophies that have been carried forward through the generations. Our program is rooted in the lineage of Power Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin Yoga. We understand, studying yoga today is only possible because of a long chain of teacher-student relationships that stretch back into time immemorial. Only because of the immense effort, care and love of those teachers is it even possible to explore our lives and ourselves through Yoga.

Together we will work intentionally, find spaciousness to digest our teachings, laugh out loud, and even shed a few tears. Be ready to change your life.

Uncover your authentic voice to live earnestly the offerings of yoga.

Students of all levels are encouraged to use this yoga teacher training to continue a journey of personal exploration and connection to enhance a current yoga practice and/or become a yoga teacher.
