Meet Our Staff

Marianne Elizabeth Ames

Owner, Lead Trainer of Bliss Yoga Teacher Training

Marianne’s yoga roots started in 2001, with power vinyasa. As a mother of five dynamic children, she fulfilled her 15-year dream, to become a yoga instructor, and has since added Prenatal, Sculpt, Barré, ShaktiRize, Breathwork, and Buti to her accreditation.

More About Marianne
She continues to learn, grow and refine in the 500-hour Master Yoga Program. As a Craniosacral Therapist, Reiki Master, Trauma-Informed Somatics Educator and Women’s Embodiment Coach, Marianne is constantly curious and holds deep reverence for the body and the aliveness of life.

Marianne’s teaching style is dynamically heart-driven while grounded in joy, curiosity and vulnerability. Based solidly on personal freedom, body awareness, alignment, authentic expression, playfulness and intuitive movement, she encourages students to break away from perceived stereotypes while exploring and moving freely in a way that makes sense in both the physical and energetic body. With a fire in her belly for seeing the innate intelligence and expression of each individual body, Marianne views yoga as an extension of somatic exploration with a deep anchoring of safety for each student. She is passionate about the transformational gift of movement and breath, as she holds space for each student to find their own practice, challenging while honoring the body. Throughout class Marianne holds the container for a radically honest home-coming to the acceptance of what simply is, within each student.

Melding experience and passion, she understands the necessity for both solid groundwork and space to grow and explore.

Lead Trainer of Bliss Yoga Teacher Training

Jess Copley

Stepping onto my mat is like coming home. It is that safe space, a sanctuary where I can move, breathe, and heal. In 2005 when I began yoga it was solely for the physical aspect and how it benefited my dance practice.  I began learning about the breath and the life force of the practice of yoga and it became so much more. As an instructor I hope to guide us through a dance that breathes into our soul. I am so excited to share this journey with you.

Tana Graham

Tana is a dynamic and authentic person who has a passion for people. She is deeply rooted in service and has been committed to her work in the healthcare field for the past 25 years, as well as her devotion to volunteer service, and recently as a movement and meditation faclitator.

More About Tana
Tana began her yoga journey in 2018 while seeking balance in her life physically, mentally, and emotionally. As a lifelong movement lover of all things physical between hiking, dance, and running, she found a need for counterbalance to the demands on her body as a result of her marathon training. She began by adding strength and conditioning along with yoga and fell in love with both.

Combining her passion for people and service work with her affection for yoga; Tana felt led to teach. In April of 2022, she completed her 200 hour YTT through Authentic Movements where her training focused on creative Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga. During training, she developed an interest in yogic philosophy and a hunger to deepen her understanding of the energy body. In March of 2022, she completed her Reiki Master level 3 certification.

Tana’s unique style is creative and intentional. She sees yoga as a means for self discovery by inviting curiosity and playfulness on the mat through the exploration of different shapes. Tana utilizes props and variations to encourage safe and healthy alignment and inclusivity for each individual body. She enjoys creating dynamic heat building flows with funky transitions as well as soft and subtle moments in class to foster a safe and supportive space for her students.

More About Suzanna

Suzanna (Suzie) was first introduced to yoga in high school where the choices for PE were Dance and Yoga. Being hyper-mobile made yoga the more appealing choice. After high school the excitement of young adulthood brought her practice to a halt. Over the next decade she got married, had a daughter and moved into her first house. In the fall of 2014 she suffered an injury to a disk in her lumbar spine and 8 months later the disk fully ruptured causing her to need emergency spinal surgery. In the months following she had to re-learn how to walk and live with the nerve damage caused by the compression of the nerves in her spine.

After returning home she began practicing yoga at Wildwood Yoga Studio, She fully immersed herself in the asana practice and even more deeply in to the spiritual practices surrounding Yoga. Her whole life was transformed. She felt a profound and deep change in her mental, emotional and physical health as a result of her practice. So in the summer of 2020 Suzanna signed up for a Summer mentorship teacher training and became a 200-hourcertified yoga teacher. Soon after that she became a Reiki Master. Her passion for healing traumatic injuries has shaped her practice and teaching as she continues to struggle with the chronic effects of her back and nerve injury. She takes yoga very seriously but also believes that we take life a little too seriously.

Megan Hamilton

Megan has been practicing yoga in one format or another for over 15 years. Her journey as a fitness instructor started with teaching aerobics classes at the age of 18, and the running joke with her family was that she was going to quit her job and teach yoga.

More About Megan

In 2023, the universe took her seriously and allowed her to finally make her dream a reality. She traveled to Isla Mujeres, Mexico with Kootenay Yoga School to complete her 200-Hour teacher training and left knowing that she was not going back to corporate life. She is also a Certified Life Coach with a focus on Holistic Wellness, helping others to build habits that support their physical, emotional and spiritual well being. She is continuing to learn as a teacher, working towards certification in Prenatal Yoga. She believes that yoga should be accessible to all bodies, and strives to lead classes that allow all to find a place of self-love and joy through mindful movement.

Jose Granados Amaya

I took my first yoga class 10 years ago at a gym and I fell in love but I never practiced again until last year. I been telling myself for years that I need to do it again. For me, yoga was an outlet while I battled depression, anxiety and panic attacks. Once I began to be in tuned with my body and my mind I was able to find peace and tranquility after my first hot yoga class in January 2022.

More About Jose
I’m a very dedicated and passionate person and with that, I practiced non-stop for months. One of my instructors planted the seed to become an instructor. As a bodybuilder I quickly realized how incredibly important it was to practice. Weight training is very Yang and yoga is very Yin and both pair up beautifully. Shortly after, one of my many instructors recommended a school she went to in Mexico. Four months later, I went off to do my 3 week 200HR immersive Yoga Teacher Training in Mexico. I finally found my calling and teaching fitness and yoga was what I was meant to do. I enjoy all types of yoga especially Yin and Power Vinyasa. My quest is to create incredible and powerful individuals who are connected to their body and mind through overcoming physical and mental challenges in class. I want every one of our yogis feeling proud and confident after their practice.

Priscilla Ortiz

I love and enjoy helping others to get physically and mentally healthy. I love being a yoga, barre and sculpt intructor, fusing fun, strength and positive mantra in to each class. I am so excited to teach at Bliss where I know that I will continue to grow and learn from everyone around me.

More About Priscilla
Fitness has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. In my short stay in Arizona (2007) I was introduced to yoga. I didn’t get the opportunity to REALLY embrace and get to know what yoga was about, until a few years later after we moved back to WA. It became clear to me that in order for me to care for my son, who has high needs, I needed to be physically and mentally healthy. So in 2011 I decided to ignite that flame. I began going to the gym and it was good, but I felt like I was missing something. Remembering my experience with yoga I decided to try it again. And I fell in love. It is a place where I have no choice but to be in the moment and think of me. I had no idea that yoga was going to be a life changing experience. I decided during that time that I wanted to get yoga certified so that I could share this with my friends, family and strangers.

Nicki Glaze

Using her lifelong experience with athletics and desire to learn more, Nicki began creating high intensity, mobility focused fitness classes to help students build strength and endurance. Modifications are offered and students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and take breaks as needed. Moving away from seasonal sports as a youth and into lifelong fitness as an adult, Nicki’s focus has shifted to building functional movement patterns, flexibility and strength.

More About Nicki
Yoga speaks to Nicki’s curious spirit, providing her both peace and challenge. As a lifelong athlete and competitor, movement in all its forms has been a constant in Nicki’s life. It wasn’t until Nicki discovered yoga in 2018, that she reconnected with movement for the simple joy it brings to her life. Nicki completed her 200 YTT with Awakening Yoga Academy in 2020. Nicki began consistently practicing Hot Sculpt and Hot Barre in 2018 as well. She instantly fell in love with the power of movement, amazing music, and the excellent workout.

Joanna McKintrick

Yoga has been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember. Getting into my body and synchronizing it with my breath has always been an intuitive, healing process for me.

More About Joanna
Yoga has opened the door for me to explore my inner depths and create a sanctuary in my body. It has taught me presence, compassion, and how to feel the oneness that is in everything.

In 2019, in an effort to broaden my understanding of this philosophy, I earned my certification to teach yoga. In doing so I quickly learned that sharing my practice with others and guiding them through their own process is as fulfilling as having my own.
offer an engaging and heart-centered moving meditation that will guide you to a state of joyful relaxation. We will stretch your body, soften your mind, and deepen your soul. Together, we will create a space that allows you to come home to yourself.

More About Jordan

Jordan is a Licensed Massage Therapist who has been playing and practicing in the healing arts since she was a child.  Whether it was with crystals and stones she found in the mountains of Ridgeway, Colorado, where she grew up, or using energetic healing techniques she learned from books in the library as a pre-teen on her animals and around the home on friends and family when they were in need, Jordan has been called towards the healing arts for all her life since she can remember.  In 2011 she pursued her Associates in Occupational Studies Degree in Massage Therapy and Bodywork at the Colorado School of Healing Arts, graduating in 2013 with 1,300 hours of study and hands on work.

In 2016 she attended school at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in Chicago to acquire her 750-hour license in skin care as an Esthetician.  There she enjoyed learning about the skin on a deeper level and caring for it through ancient Ayurvedic techniques such as acupressure and healing essential oils.  In 2019 she embarked on a 200-hour journey to become a Love and Authenticity Transformational Guide.

Jordan specialized in the study and practice of Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy. She continues to pursue this, learning more as the field grows with a better understanding of the human body and its relation to and connection with pain (and our perception of it), mobility and movement, and the many important layers of the fascinating fascia and its essential role in our body’s ultimate health.
