Expand Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Program

85-hour Program

Join us weekends October 18 – November 15, 2024
Dear Students,

Are you called to guide others towards a more connected and mindful movement experience in pregnancy? Expand Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training offers a transformative path for yoga instructors and experienced birth workers seeking to expand their knowledge and teaching skills beyond simply modifying poses for a pregnant body.

With abundance and joy,
Marianne & Megan

Welcome to Expand, our registered Prenatal Yoga program with Yoga Alliance. Thank you for exploring the possibility of joining our dynamic, inclusive program.

Our locally owned and family-run studio has been a staple of the Monroe community since 2018. Our programs capture everything that makes Bliss Yoga Studio so fluid, embracing and empowering. We strive to create a warm, welcoming and non-dogmatic atmosphere, where students of all backgrounds and skill levels can thrive. Our focus on diversity and the philosophy that yoga is for “EVERY body” allows us to create an inclusive atmosphere in our classes and teacher training school. Our emphasis is on the benefits of yoga, uniting the physical body and the mind with curiosity, intention, and awareness.

While our 200-hour Awaken training is ideal for students with interest in diving in the traditions, teachings and not one-size-fits-all alignment of yoga, our 85-hour Expand Prenatal training is carefully crafted to welcome those who have completed a 200-hour training to expand their offerings to include safe, inclusive and nurturing yoga practices to students in the childbearing year.

As with all programs at Bliss, we will prioritize the intentional thread of somatic safety as priority. As this thread of safety is lovingly woven through the lens of trauma-informed language and embodiment, we understand that both the students in our trainings and their future students can only learn from a place of safety.

We use the classroom and one-on-one techniques to give space for students to fully embody the teachings of yoga. We are committed to personal and professional growth to prepare students to live with courage, connection and bravery, on and off the mat.

Our Bliss Yoga Teacher Lead Trainers and Faculty have rich experience in their chosen fields of subject matter expertise and have not only taught at all levels of yoga but have further training and experience working directly with pregnant women. We are committed to continue to grow through education and study, enhancing the Bliss lineage.

Together we will work intentionally, find spaciousness to digest our teachings, laugh out loud, and even shed a few tears. Be ready to change your life and reclaim your authentic voice.
